Teleda Orgo was founded by Gogi Dakishvili as the culmination of his family’s multigenerational interest in Georgia’s winemaking and wines. “Teleda” is the ancient name of Telavi, the main city of Kakheti region where the winery is located and ‘Orgo’ is the stone that traditionally was used as the closure of quevri (large clay pots traditionally used for fermentation). Gogi, his wife and 3 children are all involved in winemaking, with one of his sons pursuing a career in the Teliani valley.
A classic Georgian orange wine that’s been fermented in clay pots called “qvevri.” Notes of dried apricot, pear, apple skin and figs.

In accordance with Pennsylvania liquor law, all of our bottle sales, including the wine club, will be pick-up only from our store inside Lawrenceville Market House.
The sale will not be completed until you pick up your wine and present your valid US drivers’ license or passport. We are limited to 4 bottles (3L) per transaction. If you are interested in ordering more than 6 bottles, send us an email to info@nineoclockwines.com
