Le Clos des Jarres was founded in 2010 by Vivien Hemelsdael, whose parents farmed the land before him but sold their fruit to a cooperative. Before taking over the land, Vivien traveled and studied winemaking, becoming interested in organic farming methods. When he returned, he converted the family property to organic farming. He works with a range of red and white grape varieties.
This is a lively red wine in spite of its grape blend, which is typically associated with heavier reds. Notes of red fruits, a touch of dark chocolate and a black pepper finish.

In accordance with Pennsylvania liquor law, all of our bottle sales, including the wine club, will be pick-up only from our store inside Lawrenceville Market House.
The sale will not be completed until you pick up your wine and present your valid US drivers’ license or passport. We are limited to 4 bottles (3L) per transaction. If you are interested in ordering more than 6 bottles, send us an email to info@nineoclockwines.com
