The Fabre Family has been deeply embedded in winemaking for four hundred years. In 1711, the family settled in Gasparets, near Narbonne, France. Louis Fabre, the 14th generation of winemakers, has been heading the family’s five estates since the 80s. If you’re looking for wine nobility, the Fabres are a good candidate for longevity and land acquisition. Each of the five current estates was acquired through marriages amongst the family. In 1991 he converted all of his holding to certified organic vineyards. In the mid-aughts, his daughter and niece joined the family business, helping to manage the wine tourism and accounting portions.
Medium-bodied, with notes of aromatic spices and chocolate. Black plums and a gritty tannic structure and some red fruit acidity.
