Virginie Saverys is Belgian lawyer but moved to Tuscany in 2007 and bought Avignonesi in 2009 so she could start her second career in wine. Because of her strong belief in natural methods, Avignonesi is now the largest biodynamic winery in Italy. Her daughter, Eline Aloy is the assistant winemaker.
Aromas of ripe cherries, blueberries and sweet spices. The taste is medium-bodied, fruity and smooth with a long lingering, dry finish, reminiscent of tomato leaves, with an underlying hint of menthol.

In accordance with Pennsylvania liquor law, all of our bottle sales, including the wine club, will be pick-up only from our store inside Lawrenceville Market House.
